Club Philosophy
“Passing, Pressing, Positioning” - Johan Cruyff
We strive to play an attack minded possession based style of football. We encourage our players to be creative and take a few risks on the attack. When it comes to defense, it’s about pressing our opponents high up the pitch and cutting off passing lanes.
We want our players to understand that this is a team game, and every player is important. We will strive to make every player, parent, coach, employee, or any other person associated with the club feel welcome. As a club, we want to foster an inclusive environment.
Lastly. Yes, we want to win games and win championships! But that will not be our focus. This club was formed for one purpose; Player Development. That will always be our main priority. Because of that our games will be about how we play, not the scoreline!
Player Development
Tactics.
This is the foundation of our player development strategy. We want our players to understand spacing and positional play. Teaching players how to read a play and anticipate certain actions will ensure they can handle any situation.
Technique.
Equally important is the technical aspect of the game. Our coaches will focus on developing every players’ dribbling, passing, ball control, and defending. We want our players to understand that these skills could always be worked on and improved upon.
Mentality.
Confidence, Focus, Determination. These, above all, are the traits we strive to instill in our players.
